The Epperson’s Merry Little Christmas

This year, our transition to a temporary condo and our daughter’s absence as she spends the holidays with our relatives in California, along with her boyfriend, have drastically altered the dynamics of our family celebration.

This year marks a significant break from our usual festive traditions. Due to a series of major changes, our belongings are kept in storage, leaving our home without its usual grand holiday decorations and the comforting familiarity of our cherished Christmas traditions.

In fact, we had zero Christmas decor this year. It’s a departure from our usual Epperson Christmas, well-documented on my Instagram (#AnEppersonChristmas), showcasing everything from elaborate tree decorations to our Santa Stakeout, cozy Christmas Eve dinners, and festive brunches. And, of course, everyone’s favorite – our quirky family holiday photos.

This year has taught us that even in the midst of change, our ability to come together and make the most of what we have is what truly makes our holiday season special.

So here’s to the Epperson’s Merry Little Christmas – different, but undoubtedly filled with love, warmth, and cherished moments that will be etched into my heart forever.

I hope you had a meaningful celebration with your loved ones. To those who spent Christmas alone or are going through difficulties in life, know that you are not alone. You are always in my prayers, and may you find comfort, strength, and moments of joy in the midst of challenges.
