Transition Wardrobe

I wish Manila had four seasons just like the States and Europe. But I guess it’s a blessing that we only have the dry and wet weather, can you imagine the closet space we would need?

Since I miss wearing “autumn/winter” clothes, I thought I’d upcycle some of my summer essentials and pimp them up to make them cool weather-worthy! Plus, it saves me from buying new outfits…uhm, who am I kidding? Anyway, here are some tips if you want to save some bucks and still look stylish with the change of weather.

Summer trend: Denim on Denim
Cool weather style solution: Pair it with booties and wear black opaque stockings

Top and shorts, Zara; Opaque stockings, Marks&Spencer; Booties, Jeffrey Campbell; Bag, Goyard

Summer trend: Indigo or any bright-colored tops
Cool weather style solution: Pair your bright shirt with a classic pencil-cut pleather skirt

Top, Tango; Skirt, Zara; Shoes, CMG; Bag, Lanvin; Necklace, Forever 21

Summer trend: Military
Cool weather style solution: Add a jacket and complete the look with lace-up booties.

Top, Korea find; Jacket; Hong Kong find; Leggings, New York find; Booties, Jeffrey Campbell “Lita”
