The Epperson’s Christmas Peppermint Tree

It’s that time of the year again when I get to share with all of you our Christmas tree and holiday decor.

I would’ve blogged about this earlier but I have so much work and pending projects I had to attend to and I almost forgot to blog this!! Thanks to some of my friends who sent me text messages: “Ang shogal naman ng Christmas tree reveal!” and “Magva-Valentine’s Day na, waley pa ba ang Christmas tree reveal?”

Grabe naman sa pressure! Eto na mga bakla, haha!

Every year, I dedicate the the look of our Christmas tree to one of my family members. The last two years, I’ve created themed trees for Tom and Dylan. This year, I’m dedicating our tree to my daughter Aryanna who is having an amazing year. She just recently won the MTV VJ Hunt out of thousands of hopefuls while still maintaining being on the Dean’s List in the university. Wow. Tom and I are so blessed.

When I think of Aryanna, I think of all things cute, adorbs and peppermints!

Ladies and gentlemen presenting… The Epperson’s holiday decor:

It took me a few months to collect all the peppermint ornaments. I bought some of the decor online and the others are from different shops and department stores.

Our new house also has a grand staircase. I wanted to decorate it with a winter-y garland and I found the coolest LED poinsettia lights!

Love the velvet poinsettia!

Some autumnal decor for the formal living room

Cinnamon-scented pine cones spell Christmas!

I also provided an additional Christmas gift table to accommodate some of the presents that didn’t fit the theme of our tree (at meron pa talaga kaming color theme for the Christmas gift wrappers, haha!)

I am sooooo happy I found peppermint lollies to use as toppers for our tree!

A sweet peppermint-y entrance

Tah-dah!!!

Tom and the kids love the tree! Aryanna is super happy with the our Christmas decor. I think I did a good job this year decorating our new home for the holidays. Just don’t pay attention to the bare walls. We haven’t gotten around hanging the artwork. We’re still nitpicking plus, we had something custom made so it’s taking forever.

Anyway, I think our Christmas peppermint tree makes up for the lack of furniture and decor. It’s a happy tree!

The decorations are done. I’m looking forward now to setting up the table for Christmas brunch and dinner. It’s also time to wrap more presents. Later everyone!

Shoppingero/shoppingera, Aryanna’s newly designed website is already up! Check out her “Hello, Holiday!” post, visit www.AryannaEpperson.com now!
