My family and I are currently preoccupied with our big move. Our condo is like a battle ground these days with boxes and bubble-wrapped furniture scattered everywhere. Our new house is looking like a war zone with sooooooo many repairs and renovations going on. It’s an understatement to say that we’ve been busy.
To be honest, when Style Weekend’s EIC Liza Ilarde told me she wanted to include me and Aryanna in their Mother’s Day issue, I had second thoughts but I couldn’t say no to her. I love Liza!
Anywho… Tom, Aryanna and I carved out a few hours from our day last week to shoot and I’m happy to report that despite our current situation, everyone came together and made it happen. I guess that’s what being a family is really all about—having to rely on each other whatever the circumstances are. Thanks Tom and Aryanna!
Aryanna and I emailed Liza the answers to the interview questions separately as we were both busy last week. This morning was the first time I read my daughter’s answers and I bawled! Kakaiyak naman ang mga sagot mo, anak! I so love you!
I thank God everyday for having such a kind-hearted, intelligent and amazing daughter. I am truly one of the happiest moms in the whole wide world!
To my mom who taught me that hard work (in all aspects of life) pays off, thank you! I love you, mom! Happy Mother’s Day!
