It’s that time of the year again.
Philippine Fashion Week, is a week-long celebration where all the fashionphiles in the industry gather at SMX convention center, to celebrate all that is inspiring and Filipino.
I’m a big supporter of our fashion industry, Filipino designers and retailers. I love the passion and hard work that goes into building their collection and keeping the business alive. I know for a fact that being in retail and having a atelier is not for the lighthearted as our market is finickee, and in my opinion, already saturated. To maintain a business in fashion takes a lot of hard work, patience, and money.
On that note, here’s Day 1 of Philippine Fashion Week:
The Ramp Crossings
In my opinion, when it comes to fashion events, it’s all about “todo” (read: full-on)! As in, todo black — from the little black dress to black accessories to black, sky-high heels, even the makeup, black eyes! Haha!

Thanks Xandra Ramos-Padilla of The Ramp Crossings for inviting Aryanna. It was her first time at Philippine Fashion Week.
I’m glad that Aryanna went with me as my date and human crutch (I wore killer shoes last night and I’m lucky to be alive and still standing. Haha!) Thanks for accompanying me, sweetheart!

I wish I took more photos of the guests and friends but Aryanna and I had to be in and out of the venue as I have work and she had volleyball practice the next day.
The few friends I spotted (as in tatlo lang sila, haha!):
Are you ready for the Holiday collection ?
Peplum skort
Mettalics
Kids fashion
Cardigans, checks, newsboy caps, and cool kicks
Indigos and zebra prints
Graphics, pleats, and metal cap-toe shoes
Congrats team The Ramp Crossings!
Fashion is a serious business and we’re seriously having fun with it!
Congrats Runway Production and Joey Espino for a successful first day! Break a leg!
I’m going to try to watch as much fashion shows as my schedule permits. I hope to see all of you there!

My friend and I saw you and Aryanna while taking pictures outside the Hall. We were fascinated by the both of you. Very pretty and stylish. 🙂
