Reader’s question:
“Hi Ms. Jenni. I super love your new Sony Bravia 4K TV. Perfect on your spacious living room. By the way, what’s the ideal size of a TV for the small space condo living room? Thank you & God bless.” – Dorris

My answer: When it comes to shopping for a tv, my suggestion is to buy the biggest (and slimmest) that you can afford.
There are a lot of technical explanations regarding the ratio of how far your seats/sofa should be from the size of your tv but, in my opinion, tv and home movie-watching these days are all about having a cinematic experience. It is basically mimicking watching movies in a VIP theater on a large screen with surround sound and comfy seating only it’s done in the comforts of your own living room. To duplicate that cinema-like experience, a big monitor is a must. I tell you, most people spend very little time wishing they were watching a smaller screen, and in my experience, it doesn’t take long to get used to a really big display.
When it comes to decor, gone are the 90’s style big chunky tv’s that make interior designers cringe. They were considered tacky but since televisions these days are way slimmer and sleeker, and the designs are modern and blend well with most interiors, having a huge yet slim monitor is like having a piece of art.

The latest Bravia™ series is designed to make each TV set the ideal piece for any room. When hung against a wall, the X9300D series sits very close to the surface, virtually disappearing into the wall and leaving nothing but the picture. In addition, the clean cable management keeps wires out of view, providing an equally elegant look when viewed from behind.
