Can you believe it’s already August? For as much as it feels like the months are passing by quickly, I’m also excited because it’s my birth month! I feel like it’s more special this year because I’ve finally lost the extra 20+ lbs. of weight that I’ve been carrying around for 6 years!

For me, August brings new hopes, new adventures (I’m traveling soon with Aryanna) and new insights on life—that it’s never too late to make big dreams/goals come to life. With a little bit of discipline, patience and believing in yourself, anything is possible.

Here are some of my August favorites worth sharing:

One of the first skin care products I used in my late teens were from Clinique. My mom sent them to me from the Sates. I always liked their skin regimen because it’s easy and effective.

Salads and Fruits

Eating salads and fruits is my new normal to maintain my weight loss and stay healthy. This kind of diet is sustainable and to be honest, veggies and fruits are delicious! The key is to eat them fresh.

Dylan Days

My son Dylan is still on his summer break and I am spending most of my time hanging out with him. He keeps me feeling youthful and keeping up with him is a great way to exercise. Kapagod!
