It’s been quite chilly in the city the past few days because of the storm. We’ve all been cocooning inside our family room—bundled up in fluffy throws, reading and watching countless TV series (Tom and I are so into “Fargo”) and movies. No one wants to move. I managed to cook a big batch of brown rice arroz caldo so we’ve been eating that a lot. Ang sarap.

2. Love Style Life By Garance Doré
I got this book as a present during one of our exchange gifts parties. I really enjoyed reading this book. I like that it’s more than a stylish picture book—the tome is full of Garance’ s personality, style and wisdom. Thank you, Mitch So!
Garance Doré is a photographer, illustrator, author, and founder of an eponymous influential style blog. Winner of the CFDA Eugenia Sheppard Media Award, Doré has contributed both as a writer and photographer to publications including American, British, and Paris Vogue, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, T Magazine, Elle, The Guardian, and New York magazine. Originally from Corsica, she currently lives in New York City. This is her first book.
3. Mini Moet and Champagne Coup
Just the right size for a night cap. Champagne also seems to taste (or at least looks better) better when poured into a classic crystal coupe.
4. Crystal Cone Wine Stopper from Charming Charlie
This was a gift from my daughter. She attended the opening of Charming Charlie store in BGC Square and bought it for me. According to Aryanna, their shop sells super affordable fashion and home decor products.

5. Blackboard Art At Home
Aryanna’s been learning calligraphy and her blackboard art has been a treat for the family.
