I believe that family is about connection and building strong family ties starts at home. It’s all about spending time together, being in the moment and savoring experiences without being tethered to gadgets but, I’m also all for the digital lifestyle to help enhance our daily lives. So when the folk at PLDT invited me to their event about “The Smart Home”, the home of the future, I was curious and excited!

The company also announced key alliances with new partners including U.S.-leading video streaming platform from Roku Inc. for Internet TV; global internet television network Netflix for an extensive library of award-winning TV and movie titles; e-commerce giant Amazon for online shopping; and iWant TV, the leading player in the over-the-top (OTT) content platform in the Philippines.
The partnership with Amazon will soon open the door for Filipino book lovers to enjoy the popular Kindle e-book reader.

- Top-notch entertainment – Three words: Netflix & chill. Family day is all about relaxation and home movies. We all look forward to watching our favorite Netflix series not to mention my 6-year old son’s own cartoons and e-books binge.
