“Home has become fashion” – Rosita Missoni
“I think most creative industries run in parallel to each other and fashion and interiors are no exception.” -Paul Smith
“I’ve long believed that the eye runs naturally from catwalk to kitchen.” – Anna Wintour
I can’t agree more.
Just like in fashion, trends change every season in home design, furniture, and accessories, too. This season, globe lights are in vogue.
According to Designer Pages, “As natural a fit as any, designers are always looking for ways to take advantage of the beauty that occurs when light passes through glass. Handblown glass globes are subtly rustic, and are polished without too much fuss.”
Tom and I are in the process of changing our dining room chandelier to something more contemporary. I’m eyeing on something special. When it’s ready, I’ll reveal them to you. Can’t wait!
Here are my favorite bubble bulbs:
Top to bottom:
Bubble and Caviar chandeliers by Tui Lifestyle. I love caviar… In any form! Beautiful bubble lights like these add panache to a dining room.
38 Series by Bocci. GORJ globes for interior and exterior use.
Opal Glass Ceiling Light by Lamps Plus. Retro cool.
