I know, I know, I finally changed Steve Jobs’ photo on my “Gadgets” window. Haha!
New year, new gadgets to look forward to! Here are my Top 5 Gadgets for 2012:
1. Apple iPhone5
The only rumor I pay attention to is anything about Apple:
In my opinion, the Apple iPhone5 is the most-anticipated gadget for 2012. If rumors are true, iPhone lovers will have a field day with this:
2. Apple Macbook Pro
Another Apple rumor:
“Apple is set to release an all-new line of Macbook Pro notebooks next year. But what’s more intriguing is that rumors have already claimed that Apple has already started developing the new models at Quanta, Taiwan. Moreover, the source also cited that the 2012 Macbook Pro will serve as a “milestone” for the company’s future notebook models.” Source
I want to upgrade my computer this year. I’m looking forward to the new Macbook Pro Notebook’s display resolution of 2880 x 1800.
3. Samsung flip-screen MV800 compact camera
As you know, Aryanna and I love using PopBooth. Unfortunately, the app produces super low res images. With the new Samsung MV800, we’d have better quality photos (16.1 Megapixel resolution and 5X optical zoom).
What we love: “Magic Frame” which provides 12 preset background templates and lets you customize your own, a Picture-in-Picture lets you insert one image into another (so you can take a group shot and then slot a self-portrait in), a “storyboard” function, artistic “Smart Filters” for fish eye, vignetting and brushstroke effects and “Funny Face” portraits that let you morph images using the touchscreen.
Coolness: The 3.0″ Flip-Out Display lets you take great pictures from any angle. Snap a picture over a crowd, get waist-level candids of kids and pets, or spin the display for perfectly framed self-portraits. Make any shot possible by simply adjusting the LCD from 0 to 180 degrees.
4. PX 680 color material for Polaroid 600 cameras and SX-70 models with an ND filter
According to Washinton Post’s “In/Out” List, Instagram is “Out” and Gold-Edition Polaroid is “In”. GQ.com also listed it at part of their “100 Best Things In The World!”. I can understand why:
The Impossible Project manufactures new instant film for vintage cameras. Its limited Gold Edition works with all Polaroid 600 models and produces black-and-white instant images framed in gold. The newest generation of the PX 680 color material for Polaroid 600 cameras and SX-70 models with an ND filter, framed in a gorgeous gold frame.
PX 680 Color Shade FF images are sensitive to light during their first seconds outside of the camera. Shield the images from light immediately after their ejection from the camera and during the first four minutes of development to get stunningly colorful images.
5. iPad3
No need for explanation.
Shopingero/shopingera, which gadget would you want to own?

OMG! I love Apple! And got more excited on how the new iPad looks like (totoo na ba?). Buti na lang di ako bumili last year nun. The current iPad 2 ay magiging “a thing of the past” na this March. Can’t wait :3
Apple does upgrade each of its line almost every year. Good thing they don’t carry multiple models for each like other companies (do they even need to?)
I myself am waiting for the iPhone upgrade. If my trusty 4-year old iPhone would hang in there that much longer, I would definitely get the 5. If it suffers an early demise, then would have to do with the 4s. So hang in there, love (cracks and all)!
