For the last two years, my family has been home for the holidays. We used to stay in hotels or travel to celebrate New Year’s Eve. It’s a wonderful change because it’s less stressful as we don’t have to pack, get caught in traffic or wait for our flight. Parents can attest that traveling with two kids and nannies entail a major production.
We were delighted that for the last two years, the Locsin family has adopted us during NYE to watch the fireworks on the rooftop of their building. The kids love it! Thanks, Andy & Mailin!
My kids look forward to seeing the Locsin’s family dog, Max, too.
As some of you may know, our pet Jack Russel of 15 years, Blitz, passed away last year. I don’t think I’m ready for a new pet but the kids have been hounding me about getting us a new dog. They want Tito Andy and Tita Mylene’s Corgi. Oh, boy.
Our hosts’ mouthwatering NYE spread
Thank you, Andy for introducing foie gras and Sauternes combo. It’s one of those dynamic duos!
Not-so-tiny bubbles! Dom to welcome the New Year!
Before the strike of midnight, we were all ushered to the rooftop to watch the city’s fireworks.
Someone is still sleepy
Dylan: Time for the fireworks guys! I’m not sleepy anymore!
The boys waiting for the big bang
Woohoo! Happy New Year!
Rooftop revelres
The Eppersons are in full force for 2014!
Meet our gracious and generous hosts Andy, Mylene and Max Locsin!
Thank you Locsin family for another lovely NYE experience!
Happy New Year y’all!
How did you spend your New Year?
