We used to spend the Holy Week just chilling at home but, this year, it was the first time that my family and I went on a hotel staycation at Azumi Boutique Hotel.
Azumi (it’s female Japanese name meaning “safe residence”) is a boutique hotel located in the heart of Alabang. The hotel is managed by Hospitality Innovators, Inc., one of the leading local management companies in the hospitality industry with 15 years of re-imaging and transforming management and operation of hotels, resorts, condominiums and serviced residences such as Picasso Serviced Boutique Residences in Makati, Joya in Rockwell and The Henry in Cebu.
Going to Azumi from Makati City is like going on a mini road trip. We took the Skyway during Holy Week and there were hardly any vehicles on the road so it only took around only 10 minutes to get to the place. Awesome!
The Epperson’s ready for the long weekend!

We got two bedrooms, the kids stayed in one of the Queen Rooms
Tom and I got the A Villa. It’s located at the penthouse of the hotel with a kitchen, living and dining area, one bedroom, a master bathroom, spectacular view and direct access to the saltwater infinity lap pool.
Acca Kappa toiletries for pleasantries
Also located on the penthouse is the media room. They had popcorn night during our stay. The kids got to watch movies and cartoons.
The view of the infinity lap pool from out penthouse suite is sweet!
No time to waste, time for a dip!
Where there is water, there is riot with these two

Romulo’s Cafe is a restaurant-bar located on the Ground Floor of the hotel. It serves authentic Filipino comfort cuisine.
I think I match the interior of the resto, haha
Delicious Filipino comfort by Romulo’s Cafe. The Crispy Pata and Fried Tilapia are musts!
Dessert of champions: fancy turon, leche flan and ice cream
Woke up to this view for two days

Laughs and “lafangs” with the Epperson boys
Tom and Aryanna doing what they do best: chilling out
My kind of “chilling out”: Spa time! Azumi Hotel offers spa services for guests
Aryanna and I also had a mother and daughter bonding at Nail Spa. It is located at the Ground Floor of Azumi Hotel. Guests can easily relax and get the best mani/pedi service in this joint. I super love the interior, ambiance and the staff are well-trained. You don’t have to stay in the hotel to avail their services. To book an appointment, call (632) 8690072.
Posh & pamper
Aryanna and I both had the Bliss Hands and Pamper Feet services. It was amazing!
We stayed at Azumi Boutique Hotel for 3 days and 2 nights. We had a good balance of doing fun activities as a family and just ate and lounged around. We had a great time! We might just plan another staycation next year for Holy Week. Let’s see.
