Like what I’ve mentioned before, I’ve been collecting Alessi home accessories since I was single. The first time they opened their store in Makati Shangri-la Hotel, I was instantly smitten by the quirky and fun designs. Every piece is a work of art.
I’ve slowly built a collection over the years, buying piece by piece, usually during sale although I’ve been known to splurge once in a while on their limited edition pieces. I love collecting them because each piece puts a smile on my family’s and my face!
Alessi in Bonifacio High Street is having a 40% off renovation sale till March 26, Sunday. For collectors like me, this exciting! I don’t remember Alessi going on sale with this much discount! It’s usually 20%-30% off only.

In an act of extreme styling, the well-known corkscrew “Anna G.” has been transformed into a work of art decorated with precious stones: six different designs in an edition of 99 copies each, and a single piece, with a necklace of real diamonds, in a limited edition of 9 copies. Now, in a case of “extreme styling”, “Anna G.” the ballerina has been transformed into a precious object by a master jeweler from Valenza Po. Enamels. – Alessandro Mendini

The “Anna G.” Etoile collection is very expensive. Maybe if it goes on sale for 80% off, I’d buy one. Otherwise, I’d just meet her in my dreams! Haha!
