This post is way overdue, but as some of you may know, I’ve had health issues that I had to deal with the last few weeks. My world pretty much stopped because of it. Anyway, I have two great news for you!
Great news no. 1: After a nail biting experience of waiting on the results of my tests, I’m happy to report that my mammogram and biopsies results are benign, “not remarkable”, and non-cancerous! Thank you, Lord! Thanks for all your prayers too!
Great news no. 2: Ever since the launch of Karl Lagerfeld x Shu Uemura collection, makeup junkies around the world pretty much wiped out the shelves of Shu Uemura stores. The collection sold out faster than you can say “Mon Shu!”

I love the Karl Lagerfeld x Shu Uemura lipstick in “Luxe Burgundy”, I used it during the Sofitel’s Spiral Gala event.
Tip: Use a lip liner with this lipstick to avoid smudging.

The evening was not only an introduction to Shu Uemura’s holiday collection, it was also the celebration of two milestones, shu uemura’s 10th year in the Philippine beauty scene and a toast by Charisse Hernandez-Chua, General Manager of L’Oreal Luxe for the transition of one great and well-loved leader of L’Oreal Philippines to another—from the outgoing Managing Director, Mr. Luc-Olivier Marquet (in gray suit) to his successor, Mr. Rowel Vijandre (in red tie).
