The moment I saw Audrey Hepburn’s Harper’s Bazaar, April 1956 cover I knew I had to hunt for that cloche-shaped straw hat! I researched about the vintage hat that she wore on the cover but I couldn’t find any information except that she wore a floral creation by Hubert de Givenchy. I’m not sure if the hat was painted on the cover as it seemed disproportionate or it was also by the designer. Anyway, I love her sombrero and I want it!

Audrey Hepburn would have been 80 years old this year and it was serendipity that I found a straw hat inspired by her. Best part? I bought my lampshade hat at H&M for only Php 999!
