I am happy to share with you some of my old and new beauty faves!
I try to change my beauty regimen every now and then just to see what works best for me. I also like discovering new products that are out in the market and re-discovering all-time favorites.
Five Favorites:
Let me introduce you to Human Nature. It is one of the first range of affordable and genuinely natural products in the Philippines.
They sent me their home and beauty products a few months ago to try and some of them have become my favorites.
Human Nature All Natural Spray Sanitizer was not part of the package that was gifted to me. I learned about it through my friend Cricket Tantoco. She used it once at a party and I loved the citrus smell. So bango! Fresh lang. It’s also not sticky like other hand sanitizers.
It’s a must inside your purse!
I used to buy this expensive detergent for kids for my 3-year old son Dylan. After discovering Human Nature’s Tough Love Liquid Detergent (no phosphate, no bleach & biodegradable), I switched. I give this product two legs up! Raise your legs!!!
Human Nature is available Rustan’s grocery (Note: the Spray Sanitizer can be found in the alcogel section, not in the booth, which is weird.)
I’ve always liked Avon products especially that I have been one of the few who got invited to tour their laboratory in Beijing, China last year. I know that their products are of high quality and are developed especially for women.
My current favorite is their Anew Reversalit (Day) Renewal Cream with SPF 25 UVA/UVB.
Can I just say, HALLELUJIA for bringing in K-Palette from Japan products to the Philippines?
I love their 1 Day Tattoo Eyeliner! OK, wag ma-praning, hindi ‘to totoong tattoo! Keme lang. The eyeliner stays on for hours and will not smudge but, you can easily wash it with facial wash and water or using makeup remover products. Kaya relax lang.
It’s easy to apply this eyeliner because of its pointed tip. Walang pasabog raccoon eyes na ganap pag eto ang gamit!
K-Palette is available at Rustan’s Beauty Bar
Hello Pond’s! We meet again!
Pond’s Age Miracle chuchu is for women like me who have mature skin. Machuuuuuure? Haha!
I’m currently trying Pond’s Age Miracle Cell ReGEN™ Facial Foam with my ultimate favorite non-invasive beauty gadget the Clarisonic Mia 2 (read about it here)! So far, they both work for my skin.
If you haven’t heard about Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil, magalsa-balutan na kayo. CHOZ!
It’s only the best makeup remover I’ve tried. This is one of my beauty essentials (green is my favorite). Every beauty editor I know also swears by this oil. It’s the type of product na nagpa-panic ako pag najubusan na sa balur! Haaaay!
Grab not one, not two, but three bottles when you visit Shu Uemura. Ubusan levelz. Buy their new Sakura Collection By OB Cleansing Oil. It’s so kyooot! Vaguettes!

Hi Ms. Jen! I love Human nature products too! However, with regard to Shu Uemura Cleansing oil, it’s too expensive! Human nature has an alternative cleansing oil that performs just as good. Here it is: http://keamistry.blogspot.com/2013/01/human-natures-cleansing-oil-competitive.html
I’m definitely going to try the K-Palette eyeliner just because I can’t afford the limited edition Laura Mercier eye liner. So frustrated at its Php 4,950 price tag even though it’s reaaaaaally really nice!!!
Would you also consider trying out MUJI’s cleansing oil? I tried it as an alternative to Shu Uemura’s.
I also swear by Human Nature’s citrus burst spray sanitizer! How can you go wrong with an affordable product that’s totally safe! How funny that I discovered it at my son’s doctor’s clinic when someone sprayed it and I literally followed the smell and had to ask what it is? Irresistible, it is!
Also, because of you, I’ve been enjoying my Clarisonic Mia 2, hirap lang coz now am trying to find out where to buy the replacement head. Mind you, it’s not cheap ha, quite expensive lang.
