‘Crazy Rich Asians’ by Kevin Kwan
I have to admit that I don’t remember the last time I finished reading a novel. I usually fall asleep after reading a few chapters of the book plus, I never have the time.
Then I started reading Kevin Kwan’s ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ and I’ve been cancelling my facial appointment and lunch with friends because of oversleeping — I stay up till wee hours in the morning just to read!
It’s a funny and entertaining book! Some parts are also heart-wrenching (Chapter 9, ‘Astrid’) and the other chapters are predictable but in a good way — sometimes, knowing what will happen makes me happy. Super easy read. Overall, it’s a page-turner.
If you like luxury, love and loka-lokahan, read this book!

Dazzle Dry Nail Laquer

Stonewall Kitchen Raspberry Salsa
My family and I cook Mexican meals 2-3x a week! We love tacos, carnitas and make killer fresh salsas too! We hardly buy bottled salsa but we gave this a try.
Our verdict? We love the sweetness of the raspberry (perfect for the Pinoy palette) and the heat from the from jalapeños! Soooooo yummy!

Nice gold watches. I like that Casion gold watch. Hmmm.. how much kaya? But like a Michael Kors midsize gold stainless steel watch too. Hope to find a legit seller here soon!

Hi Jenny, I reviewed your favorites. The Crazy Rich Asians sounds interesting so I checked on it from our public library and surprisingly, all of their copies were all checked out – guess I have to wait for weeks or just visit a Barnes and Noble location nearby to get hold of a copy. I’m stucked with Clinique Happy for nearly 15 years now and I haven’t found a scent as mild as it is. I checked on your L’Occitane Jasmine & Bergamote in Nordstrom and Sephora but they don’t carry that scent – I wonder where you got yours?
Did you read the China Rich Girlfriend? Extravagance to the highest level!
