I started wrapping gifts for the holidays and tonight, my family and I will put up our Christmas tree and decorate it. I think we are all in need of some Christmas spirit to power through the scorching weather in the city. Honestly, the ozone layer is mocking all of us. Anyway, we’ll probably be making some cold chocolate drinks instead of hot cocoa but what are you gonna do? We’re just going to play some classic Nat King Cole and Bing Crosby Christmas tunes and everything will be merry and bright. Make the best out of everything, right?

Have yourself some of my favorites:

Spring Jasmine Shanghai Tang for women

I super like this perfume! It smells fancy—violet accents, creamy sandalwood, and sheer musk. The flacon too is everything!

The perfume comes in a beautiful laquered Shanghai Tang box that will look amazing on top of your budoir or coffee table. So worth it!

Traditional Medicines Echinacea Plus®

Bawal magkasakit! If you’re feeling rundown, drink this tea!

Echinacea—or purple coneflower—was used by a number of Native American tribes for hundreds of years before it was introduced into Western herbal traditions in the late 1800s. Available at Healthy Options

Marby Party Loaf

Diana Vreeland will not approve of this multi-colored white bread but how can one resist this childhood favorite? So good with tuna or chicken filling!

Tesco spices

I am so happy Tesco products are now available in the Philippines! They have some of my favorite hard-to-find spices perfect for the holidays! I mean, when was the last time you used a whole nutmeg and grated it in your dish or drink? What about garnishing your cocktails with cinnamon sticks? Vanilla beans are expensive and Tesco sells them at an affordable price. Yes!

Available at select SM Markets

Phalaenopsis

Fresh flowers are so hard to maintain in this heat. Having a phalaenopsis plant makes more sense. It’s low maintenance and beautiful. Keep your home looking fresh with plants and flowers despite the hot weather.

Let’s all pray for the cool weather to finally hit the city, shall we?
