My family and I have been eating out more than usual as it’s too hot to cook in the kitchen. Aryanna and I have been doing the resto round for our meetings (we’re partners in our new business. Watch out for it!)
Here are some of my new favorites:
Porcini-crusted U.S. Angus Rib-eye Steak (good to share), Tapenade at Discovery Primea
If you want good steak for sharing, I recommend this! It’s cooked to perfection and the crust is everything! It’s mouthwatering good!
Sourdough Pizza – Margherita and Parma from Dean & DeLuca, Edades Tower, Rockwell
In my opinion, it’s the best tasting pizza crust in the metro. The puffy disc is savory and the dough holds well to the generous toppings. I could easily get addicted to this pizza and eat it everyday if not for the painful service we experienced in Dean & DeLuca. OMG. We’ve gone to the resto for more than three times and our food arrived in batches. The staff also seemed to avoid eye contact with the customers. It was frustrating. I hope they improve ASAP. Good customer service is everything!
Bad Bird Umami Fried Chicken at Hole In The wall, Century City Mall
For me, this is the gourmet version of KFC’s Hot & Crispy Chicken. It’s freakin’ delicious and I wish they sold them by the bucket too! I like both the “Safe” and “Spicy” spice levels. I also love the vibe in Hole in the Wall!

Corn & caramel in liquid form? YES!!! It’s refreshingly yummy and tastes like caramel popcorn!
