Cooking with Elba

Ever since I blogged about my new Elba stove, I got lots of inquiries from friends, blog readers and followers on Twitter and IG about it. On that note, let me share with you my Elba experience:

Like what I’ve mentioned in my previous post about Elba, Tom and I bought our first Elba gas range eighteen years ago. It has gone through a lot of cook offs, baking, roasting and cooking big batches of food whenever we turn our kitchen into a satellite soup kitchen during calamities. My family and our whole household has been using our gas stove everyday at least three times a day for the last eighteen years and to this day, it still works. It’s amazing!

I have to say that our gas range was probably serviced only five times. I just call their service center and schedule an appointment. The service center will then send one of their repair men to assesses the problem. If it’s a minor adjustment they can fix it on the spot otherwise, the service center gives you a quote and you can book another day for to for the repairs. They have excellent service.

Elba is made in Italy. Their products are examples of manufacturing excellence and quality which are built to stand the test of time.

Last year, I got an Elba range hood. I promised to blog a review about it so here goes:

When you live in a modest-sized house or town house or condo, like we do, a powerful range hood is important. Like most condos, space is limited, it is easy for fumes and sometimes smoke from cooking to spread inside the home. The Elba range hood is both powerful and stylish. The double motor sucks out the fumes, smoke and heat when cooking and I also like the sleek stainless steel smooth finish.

If you’re looking for a range hood I highly recommend this product. I-terno n’yo na sa gas/electric Elba range n’yo, hehe!

Other features of my Elba range hood:

• Aluminum Cassette Filter
• Glass Visor
• Push Button Controls
• With Light Indicator
• Charcoal Filter
• Recirculation or Ducting Available
• 2 x 40W Bulb

I’m very happy with my new Elba gas stove and range hood. Based on experience, I know that both appliances will not give me headaches for years and my whole family will continue to make meals and memories together.
