True story: There was a 23-year-old boy named Olivier Baussan from Provence, France who wanted to change the world. He was impassioned by the power of plants and a love for his land. The year is 1976, L’Occitane was born.
2016 is a year of celebration, the perfect occasion to share 40 years of L’Occitane’s true stories.
Memories from Olivier Baussan, old packaging, original boutiques, inspiring landscapes, sensorial memories.
To celebrate L’Occitane’s 40th year the folks at Rustan’s The Beauty Source invited me and other bloggers and media to a beauty and wellness getaway.
A beautiful journey to The Farm, San Benito.
Room tour:
My very own beautiful, verdant villa in The Farm.
After settling in my villa, a much-needed sensorial treat (a.k.a. massage) was next.
After feeling like a marshmallow, a quick nap in my villa was in order. Just the right amount of sleep to get ready for L’Occitane’s Discovery Walk around The Farm.
Guests were treated to a another sensorial experience by walking through a path laden with L’Occitane vignettes to showcasing the French brand’s rich history and insightful process in creating the best products.
Dinner time!
Eating is truly my favorite “sport!” LOL
Day 2 of our L’Occitane sweet escape!
After a bit of exercise, my favorite sensorial treat was next: Food Preparation Workshop
We learned how to make fresh, organic salad with vegetarian sesame dressing.
Sooo good!
After we’ve prepared our salad, we were ushered to a wonderful brunch picnic!
Because L’Occitane cares, we learned about plants and essential oils that help revive health and open the senses.
Time for a class picture!!
The short but sweet escape at The Farm was perfect to celebrate L’Occitane’s 40 years of true stories and inspiring history.
Thank you to Team Rustan’s The Beauty Source for a relaxing and fun beauty soirée!
This coming Mother’s Day, give the gift of beauty to the most important woman in your life and get her the best products from L’Occitane’s.
