Loving this inspiring video:
I think it’s great that this generation is continuing to defy the norm and pushing the envelope of change.
I’m not as young as this generation; I’m pushing middle-age and a mom but I’m no exception. I am not the stereotypical mother who stays at home to knit matching sweaters for her family (wait, maybe I should get into that. I love matchy-matchy anything, haha!) I still go out, dance in the clubs, hangout with friends, work till the break of dawn then go home and do all that domesticated jazz. I enjoy doing anything that I’m passionate about like fashion styling, blogging, cooking and nurturing my family. I belong to the generation of modern moms who are youthful, limitless and are living the life we have imagined.
Not all things are meant to last like age-old truths and Twinkies. Yes, they don’t last forever in your cupboard. There is an expiration date. Go ahead, check it.
They say “absence makes the heart grow fonder.” I say, being present makes the heart grow fonder. Participating in life is the key to eternal youth. Doing what you love doesn’t only benefit ones self. Sharing your talent, joy, passion and love affects everyone around you. Everyone grows together.
Shoppingeo/shoppingera, it’s never to late to rise above the clichés and go after your dreams!
